Fundraising Tips
Fundraising is easier than you think--asking is 99% of the battle! Most of your friends and family would love to support you, but if someone says no, don’t take it personally. Your goal is to get as many people involved as possible, so just stick with it. Any donation is a win!
- Set a goal and make the first donation to show you are committed.
- Ask friends, family, co-workers, or church members to walk with you and show your team pride along the walk route.
- Ask in a variety of ways. Common types are email, letters, phone calls, social media, and for a personal touch, visit family and friends to invite them to help your reach your fundraising goals.
- Don’t forget to send thank-you notes or emails to anyone who supported you through donations or prayers.
