Who is United for Puerto Rico (Unidos por Puerto Rico)?
United for Puerto Rico, a non-profit (501c3) organization, is an initiative brought forth by the First Lady of Puerto Rico, Beatriz Rosselló, in collaboration with the private sector, with the purpose of providing aid and support to those affected in Puerto Rico by the passage of Hurricane Irma and Hurricane María. 100% of the proceeds will go to helping the victims affected by these natural disasters in Puerto Rico
How will this event benefit those effected by Hurricane Maria & Irma?
All proceeds from the event will be going directly to United for Puerto Rico organization. This ensures that all funds raised will go to the victims in Puerto Rico affected by Hurricane Maria & Irma.
Will there be same day bib pick up?
Yes. Same day pick up will be at the event from 7am to 8:30am. We do encourage registered participants to do pre-race pick-up.
Will there be same day race registration?
Yes. Same day registration will be available from 7am to 8:30am. Same day registration fee is $40.
Where will the pre-race packet pick-up be and what times?
Pre-race packet pick-up will be on Saturday, November 4th at the Emmaus Run Inn from 2pm-5pm. http://emmausruninn.com/
Can one person pick up the packet for another participant(s)?
Yes. If they cannot attend the pre-race packet pick-up, another person can pick up the packet of another participant(s). They will need to bring along their confirmation information at the time of pick-up.
I signed up as a Virtual Runner, what does that entail?
If you registered as a Virtual Runner, you will be receiving in the mail your bib, water bottle & race tshirt (if purchased) once the registration period is over. Please allow 5-10 business days for processing and delivery of your packet. Once received you can complete your 5K at your favorite running/walking spot! We would love for you to share your experiences on our Facebook page!
What if it rains the day of the event?
Event is rain or shine.
What is your refund policy?
No refunds will be made for this event.
I didn’t get to sign up prior to the event t-shirt deadline, can I still get a t-shirt?
Yes. Race tshirts will be available for purchase on race day. Quantities and sizes will be limited.
Can children participate in the event?
Yes. Children under 16 years old are free and are not required to register, and can still participate as long they are with their parent(s)/guardian. Minors are the responsibility of the parent(s)/guardian.
Is this event pet friendly?
Unfortunately, no pets will be permitted on the course or at the event. Only service animals are permitted.
How will we get our timing results after the race?
Race results will be posted online at www.brynmawnracing.com
What if I want to make a donation by check?
If you would like to make a donation with a check, please make it payable to Bryn Mawn Racing Co. and mail it to:

What are the male & female age groups for awards?
16 - 29
30 - 39

Will there be any other type of fundraising at the event?
We will have the following items for fundraising at the event:
- Race T-shirts will be sold for $15 each
- 50/50 Raffle
- Kids Face Painting/Hair Braiding/Hair Extensions will be available for free. Donations are encouraged.
- Food provided The People's Kitchen will be sold and all proceeds will be going to the cause.
- Silent Auction
We will also be having a After Party at The Steel Pub from 11am - 4pm, and 10% of the sales will be going to United for Puerto Rico.
Is there a After Party?
Yes. The After Party will be held at The Steel Pub located at 320 E 1st St, Bethlehem!!! 10% of the sales proceeds from 11am to 4pm will go to UNITED FOR PUERTO RICO! Just mention that you are part of the 5K! Sunday’s specials include $1 Off Craft Beers and $6 Boneless Wings! And not to mention that the E-A-G-L-E-S will be playing at 1pm!!

What time does the event end?
Event is scheduled to be completed by noon.
Where do I park for the event?
Parking is available at the West Sand Island parking lots. We will also have parking available at the Lehigh Parking Lot located on the corner of Main St and W Lehigh St. Please refer to map below. ALL TRAFFIC WILL BE CLOSED TO SAND ISLAND AT 8:30 AM. YOU WILL NEED TO PARK AT THE LEHIGH STREET PARKING LOT AFTER 8:30AM.
