Whether you're preparing for your first relay or returning as a seasoned runner, our Coastal Relay training plans are designed to help you arrive at the starting line confident and ready to perform.
The Rookie Plan focuses on building consistency, endurance, and confidence through gradual mileage progression and structured workouts. The Veteran Plan is designed for experienced runners looking to improve fitness, speed, and race readiness through a combination of endurance runs, speed development, and relay-specific training.
Both 12-week plans are tailored for the Coastal Relay course and include speed-focused workouts, recovery guidance, and relay-specific double-run sessions to help runners prepare for the unique demands of a team relay event. Training Plans begin on July 26.
