Set up Aid Station #2 at the 6 mile mark along Hanson Rd and provide fluids & food to runners. Required 8:15am to 10:20am.

Set up Aid Station #3 at the 9 mile mark along Barley Way and provide fluids to runners. Required 8:45am to 11:45pm.

Ensure runners safely cross Barley Way at the turnaround point at mile 10. Alert traffic to presence of runners on road ahead.

Course Marshal Medium Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Direct runners at critical course turns and provide basic directions or distance to next waypoint. Cheer for runners and notify other race volunteers of anyone requiring aid. Varying time slots available depending on location. Course Marshal #3 will need to walk, bike or drive a 4WD vehicle one mile along a section line trail to reach their spot. Course Marshals #1 & #2 will be located along Barley Way.

Race Leader Medium Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Lead runners along the course to ensure they follow the correct path, preferably on a bicycle or e-bike. Must be capable of easily maintaining a 10mph pace on gravel roads & dirt trails. May also use a motorized vehicle but need to limit exhaust and dust near runners by maintaining appropriate distance.

Course Sweeper/Signage Pickup Medium Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Drive along course to ensure all runners are accounted for and pick up mile marker & directional signage and any stray trash.

Start/Finish Line Volunteers

Finish Line Area Volunteers Medium Priority

Details

Provide assistance near the finish area by handing out medals to finishers, serving post-race food/beverages, directing spectators and finishers, etc.
