Details

We will need 2-3 volunteers to assist with runner check-in before each race start. Volunteers will check runners off the lists (different lists for each of the 4 events ) and provide each runner with their bib, pins, and swag if they ordered it.

We need 4-6 timers - to capture and check-off each runner at the various aid stations and finish. Volunteers will be provided with checklists of the runners and bib numbers for each of the segments: 5K, 25K, 50K and 25K fishing folks.

Details

We will have 4 aid stations on the course. We need 3-5 volunteers at each station, to manage water, hydration drink and bars for the runners. Aid station 1 is the first one hit by each race - at mile 3-4 or so for both 25k and 50K events. 50K runners will hit this aid station 2x. If there are fish in the pond, volunteers here will also need to confirm fish catches!

Aid Station 2 is at the intersection of Old Mill and Borderline Trails, just shy of Mile 7. Volunteers will make sure there is sufficient water, food and hydration for the runners and will need to check runners off - by bib number as they go through the aid station.

This aid station will see runners in the 25 and 50K events We'd like 3-4 volunteers here throughout the race to check runners off as they go through.. There will be water, hydration drink and snacks available here.

We need 3-4 volunteers here - approx mile 13 - to both ensure the Fishslappers catch their fish and the runners go the right way. Their will be food and hydration here, as well as whiskey for the fisherfolks to "celebrate their catch."

We need 3-5 volunteers who can lend a hand at the Start/Finish - just making sure we've got our bases covered: setting up for the finish, coordinating the raffle, parking management, etc.

We need 6-8 volunteers - total - to be at each of the 4 designated intersections to ensure runners in both events go the correct way. Course marshals will also hopefully help clear the markings from the course once the last runner has passed through.

We are looking for a few folks willing to run the course at the end of the day and both ensure no runners are out on course and to pick up and return the various course marking. Ideally we'll have 2-4 in total, who can work in pairs to do different sections of the course.
