We will have 3 aid stations on the course. We need 3-5 volunteers at each station, to manage water, hydration drink and bars for the runners. Aid station 1 is the first one hit by each race - at mile 8 or so for both the 25k and 50K events. Runners will hit this aid station 2x.

Location

Aid Station 1 is located at the intersection of Marmot Passage and Staunton Ranch trails.

Aid Station 2 High Priority

October 11, 2025

Details

Aid Station 2 is adjacent to the Elk Falls Pond and will see runners from both races several times. Volunteers will make sure there is sufficient water, food and hydration for the runners and will need to check runners off - by bib number as they go through the aid station, and volunteers will need to check of that those in the fishing division actually caught a fish - volunteers must actually see that fish!

Location

Elk Falls Pond

Details

This aid station will see runners in all events - it is the last aid before the finish (3 miles for the 25K and 6+ miles for the 50K. Course Marshall High Priority

October 11, 2025

Sweeper High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

We are looking for a few folks willing to run the course at the end of the day and both ensure no runners are out on course and to pick up and return the various course marking. Ideally we'll have 6 in total, who can work in pairs to do different sections of the course (e.g. a pair up above Elk Falls Pond, a pair doing the mid section of the course, including Old Mill, Scout Line, Marmot Passage, Bugling Elk and Border line; and a pair doing the lower section - Mason Creek, Bear Paw, Staunton Ranch, Old Mill.
