GSU RAC Pavilion

We are so grateful for your willingness to help us out for The Chocolate Run on Saturday, February 24th. We need your help as a track cheerleader on race day around the Fun Run track that is also part of the 5K and 10K route.

As a Track Cheerleader you will help ensure our runners are 1) safe, 2) going in the right direction and 3) happy. You will be needed from 7 a.m. - approximately 10 a.m. on race day. Arrive at 7 a.m. on February 24th at GSU RAC Pavilion and look for the "Volunteers" sign to under the left side of the pavilion. You will be given further instructions when you arrive by team leads Paul, Julie and Abbie Mizell.

You will be given your track assignment when you arrive. From there, you will walk to your assigned point which is very close to the pavilion. At most points we will have 2 people per point on the track.

Dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes. You will be given a volunteer t-shirt on race day (T-Shirt only guaranteed if you register prior to 2/16/18 but we ordered extras and will give as supplies last). If you like, you can pick your t-shirt up on Friday, February 23rd at the GSU RAC Pavilion between 4-7 p.m.

Feel free to dress the occasion by wearing a fun costume, having signs to make our runners laugh, noise makers to liven them up, etc.
