Assists in setting up various areas of the Walk & Family Festival. Some tasks may require heavy lifting.

Clean Up High Priority

Details

At the end of the event, we always need a lot of hands to help with clean-up! This task may involve folding and stacking tables and chairs, sweeping, & general clean up of fairgrounds. Volunteers might also assist with loading supplies in cars/trucks and other various clean up tasks. Second clean-up shift may end earlier than scheduled end time, depending on needs.

Registration & Check In High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Raffle Assistant

Details

Helps sell raffle tickets for 50/50 raffle to attendees - must be comfortable approaching people and asking them to buy tickets. Answers questions about the raffle. Note: children under age 18 volunteering for this task must be accompanied by an adult.

Floater/Runner/General Volunteer High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Activities Assistant Low Priority

Assists with and monitors our fun activities at the walk! Must be comfortable working with children of all ages and abilities.

T-shirt Distribution High Priority

Details

Distributes t-shirts to attendees. May involve sorting and organizing various sizes of t-shirts, requiring attention to detail.

Volunteer Station/Runner High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Assist with checking in volunteers for their shifts. Based at the volunteer check-in area, but may be asked to take messages, supplies, etc. to other areas as needed.
