Best transit — NJ Transit #355 bus. Direct express from Port Authority Gate 305 to American Dream: under 30 minutes in normal traffic, no transfers. Drops at the American Dream transit hub, a short walk across the complex to MetLife Stadium and the Racetrack. Runs about every 30 minutes weekdays, hourly weekends and holidays. NJ TRANSIT
Rail to Secaucus, then connect. NJ Transit rail from Penn Station to Secaucus Junction (~10 min), then a local bus or rideshare (~10 min, usually cheap). NJ Transit recommends this as the 355 alternative. A #356 express shuttle from Secaucus has run historically — confirm on the Trip Planner before counting on it. NJ TRANSIT
Local buses. Routes 85 (Hoboken/Union City), 703 (Paterson/Passaic), and 772 (Hackensack) serve American Dream — useful only if you're already in North Jersey. NJ TRANSIT
Driving / rideshare from Manhattan. Lincoln Tunnel → Route 3 West, roughly 20–40 minutes. Weekday rush hour on Route 3 is genuinely bad; midday is fine. Parking is free and easy. Uber/Lyft from Midtown typically runs $50–75 plus tolls
