HIKE-A-THON RULES

1. Once registered every participant must join an Activity Team AND become a fundraiser

 

2. There is no minimum or maximum fundraising goal requirement

 

3. You are not required to personally donate in order to participate, but we would appreciate your support! 

 

We recommend that fill out your individual fundraising page - share your inspiration, your why and your goal. When you reach out to your network for donations, share your page so they can learn more about why you’re supporting this organization.

 

4. The challenge goes for 10 days from November 20 - November 30

 

5. All walks and hikes logged within this period will count towards your team's total mileage

 

6. All logged activity must be completed outdoors! 

 

We believe that nature heals, so we want you sumerse yourself in Mother Nature's healing powers

 

7. This Hike-a-Thon is run on the honor system

 

Only log the activity that you complete, once you’ve completed it

 

8. You don't have to walk or hike everyday

 

This is your challenge, get outdoors as much or as little as you'd like 

 

9. There is no limit to the number of activities you can upload

 

10. If you are unable to hike or walk during the Hike-a-Thon, that’s ok, just spending time outdoors has proven to have positive effects on our overall well being

 

The most important rule… enjoy your community outdoors and have fun!!
