**All participants must be off the trail by 10:00 PM.** 10K runners who don't complete the course by the cutoff will be given a 5K finish.

AIR QUALITY ALERTS, HEAT ADVISORIES & WEATHER

AIR QUALITY: The Air Quality Alert will expire at 7:30 PM. However, sensitive individuals may be affected by the Ross Fires, so please plan accordingly.

HEAT: It will be HOT. If it's over 90 at the start time, we will have ice at the start/finish for participants. If it's over 100. we will have additional ice at the on-course water stop

PRECIPITATON: There are no thunderstorm events in the forecast.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course is marked with signs, cones & lights.
-
Lights will be set to 'blink' at the turns
-
Know the course! Turn-by-turn directions:
--> Starting near the Major Ripley Arnold statue, head east towards TCC on the asphalt.
--> Just after TCC, caution crossing the concrete above the weir.
--> Get onto the grass, and follow the shoreline. Get on the pavement at the waterstop
--> From the waterstop, head 0.1 mile to the turnaround cone, and back to the waterstop
--> Head down the hill to the low-water crossing. Cross the river, and head uphill all the way to the highlands
--> On the highlands, head straight on grass and gravel, following the lights.
--> You will pass Coyote Drive In on the right
--> Take a left turn, heading downhill on the gravel road
--> Get onto the gravel trail heading West.
--> Merge onto the paved trail, then use the bridge to cross the river, and head to the Start/Finish -
Course runs the opposite direction from Wolffdog Trail

5K does 1 lap, 10K does 2 laps
FOOD & FLUIDS

There will be water at the Start/Finish and on course

There will be bottled drinks and electrolyte packets at the Start/Finish

There will be cookies, chips and fruit at the Start/Finish

Spectators are welcome to drink the jugged water, but food and bottled/canned drinks are only for participants and volunteers .
GEAR
-
Lights: You MUST have a light with you. Hands-free lights are best, such as headlamps, We'll have headlamps for sale at race-day packet pickup.

Fluids: We recommend that you run with a bottle or hydration vest.
-
Shoes: The course is rough, but you don't need trail shoes.
PARKING
-
On-street parking is FREE at night and on weekends.
-
Taylor Street will fill up fast, but there's also parking on Belknap, Weatherford, etc.

LITTERING & TRASH

Please carry any trash until you get to a trash can.

There are trash cans at the water stop and at the Start/Finish.
SPECTATORS
-
Your friends and family are welcome to bring chairs and hang out near the finish line to wait for you to come in!

Spectators are welcome to drink the jugged water, but food and bottled/canned drinks are only for participants and volunteers.
