These races are amazing! Well organized, fun, challenging and breathtaking in beauty. Never in a million years did I think I’d be a ‘runner’ but participating in these events gave me confidence to push harder, and accomplish things I never thought possible. ...The course was also mostly shady with the exception of miles 0-2.5 and the same stretch on the return. There were also plentiful water stations- 8 within 13.1 miles is amazing! This was only my 6th half marathon, but it was my favorite and I’ll definitely be back. Especially like the fun & happy shirt design this year. Really happy with the way the race was organized this time! Hats off to Ginger for doing a great job, and in re-estabilishing what should be a wonderful race for years to come. I ran this last December (my first) and was extremely disappointed and had misgivings about this one, but decided to give it another shot as it's in my home town and was not let down, (even got my water bottle promised from last December)! Fantastic summer race. Many Great aid stations with wonderful volunteers, cops circling the race route made it very safe, signs up all over the route warning cars to slow down, new race director did an amazing job setting this up. Will definitely do this one again. Loved the music, goodies, and free stretches from the chiropractic office that was there. My family had a great time. Cherria K. --- 5 star
Super fun course, beautiful scenery rolling past. Got a new PR here today and Ginger and everyone made the event one to remember with an awards ceremony that followed the race. Definitely coming back next year, and would recommend to anyone looking for a well done event! Erik H. -- 5 star
My husband and I both ran the Yukon Do It Half Marathon this morning. Thank you Ginger Johnson for putting on such a beautiful race! Loved running along the water, into the park and back along the water to finish. And we both PR’d Julie R. -- 5 star
Very easy check-in/bib pickup. Nice short color. Fast course. Convenient parking. While I wish the camels were out to get pics of, the weather helped to have amazing views. Great race. Lots of aid stations (8!) Christy H. -- 5 star
Ginger puts on an excellent race! We came out from Vegas, this was my first official pacing gig for Marathon Maniacs. Gorgeous course, great support, small town fun and awesome swag and food at the end! Such a welcoming and great experience! We will definitely run another one! Jen F.
The Yukon Do It was a fabulous race. It was well organized from packet pick up to the finish line food. The course was beautiful. The finish line was very good. Free parking close to the start. Bobbie B.
