About this Race Series
The Centex Race Series is a series of races throughout the year in the Central Texas area. Events are held in Belton, Lampasas, Nolanville, Harker Heights, San Saba, Salado, Killeen and Copperas Cove. Runners receive points for each race based on their finish position. An awards banquet is held each year for participants who complete 70% of the races on the year's series.
The Centex Race Series is run by the City of Killeen Parks and Recreation. The presenting sponsor is the Carlson Law Firm.
