This October I’m lacing up for Run For Your Life — an event that raises critical funds for Help Center, Inc., where I’m honored to work. The Help Center is the local 24-hour crisis and suicide line for anyone in crisis, having thoughts of suicide, in need of resource referrals, concerned about a loved one or someone to talk to. They serve Gallatin and the surrounding 12 counties and are one of three crisis centers in the state of Montana that answers the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Suicidal ideation is something so many of us have faced personally or watched loved ones struggle with. Having a place to turn, day or night, truly saves lives. Our crisis line, suicide prevention programs, and community outreach exist because of people like you who care enough to support them.
