27th Annual Heaven Can Wait 5K

Heaven Can Wait 5K has reached an incredible milestone in serving our community for more than 25 years. Since 2000, this community celebration has been raising money for Sara’s Project, a St. Charles Cancer Institute program that provides education, early detection and support services to ease the challenges of breast cancer for people in Central and Eastern Oregon.

Over the years, this event has raised $2M to provide love, support and compassion for breast cancer patients and their families. In 2026, you can help us raise $200,000 for Sara's Project through the Heaven Can Wait 5K race.

In addition to participating in Heaven Can Wait 5K, please consider creating your own fundraiser either as an individual or a team and draw on the power of your collective network of friends and families to help us reach our goal.
