The 28th annual Orthopaedic Rehab Specialists 5k/8k Run/Walk will be in beautiful downtown Jackson on Saturday, April 27, 2019. The event will start at Grand River Brewery, running along the Armory Arts Trail, through the Jackson High campus, and throughout the streets of downtown with a finish back at Grand River Brewery. Both the 8k and 5k course are certified. Grand River Brewery will be opening at 8:00am with a full service menu to accommodate participant's family and friends.
Participants will receive the coveted ORS technical shirt but are not guaranteed after April 19, 2019. The first 50 registrants will receive the Jackson’s best “In-Training” shirts. Register early for this great race!
Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers of Open and Masters Divisions in the 8k Run, 5k Run, and 5k Walk, as well as the top three finishers in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-66, 67+.
Packet pick up will take place on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at our Foot, Ankle & Running Center, 2797 Spring Arbor Road, Suite B, in Jackson. Late registration and packet pick up is also available on race day from 7:00am to 7:45am at Grand River Brewery.

The Series’ mission is to provide incentives and opportunities for Jackson and surrounding communities to get fit and active.
There are nine races in the series (Ground Hog Gallop is not used for points). Participants in each race earn points toward the series, so there is added incentive for people to enter. This race is endorsed by and part of the 2018 Michigan Fitness Foundation Challenge. The challenge encourages Michiganders to engage with events that promote physical activity, health and wellness. You will receive a FIT point for every endorsed event you participate in or volunteer for from January 1, 2018 until December 31st, 2018.
