Three years ago I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Luckily it was a quick surgery and I have been cancer free ever since. I am a proud father of two girls who without the dedication of UW Men's Health and Fred Hutch I may not be here with.
Sadly, many do not get to experience as "easy" of a cancer journey. Many others struggle much longer and in much more pain. Because of my good fortune I have focused on the Base2Space event to help raise funds for Fred Hutch Cancer Research.
The team I am apart of (F3 Puget Sound) collectively raised over $15,000 last year and have raised the bar to $20,000 this year.
