We're rallying together as TEAMCHARLIE to support the incredible work of the Here and Now Project, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting and empowering individuals with spinal cord injuries and mobility disabilities in the Pacific Northwest.
About Charlie
Charlie Jones has lived an incredible life. He’s been a wrangler, a medic Green Beret, an undercover narcotics detective, a lawyer—and in his retirement, he traveled the world playing golf and soaking in every moment. But nearly three years ago, everything changed when an accident left him a quadriplegic.
The aftermath has been unimaginably hard. The physical challenges are immense, but so too are the emotional ones. Charlie is still finding his way through grief, frustration, and loss. His story isn’t one of quick inspiration or simple triumph—it’s one of deep resilience, raw honesty, and the long, difficult work of adapting to a life that looks nothing like he imagined.
Why the Here and Now Project?
The Here and Now Project meets people where they are. Whether someone is newly injured, years into their journey, angry, grieving, hopeful, or just getting by—this community provides connection, understanding, and the simple but powerful reminder: you are not alone. Their outreach, peer support, and events create space for healing, support, and rebuilding a sense of purpose.
