Sheri Nemeth is a long term SFTC volunteer and contributor which includes:

• A term as Secretary (2011, 2012)
• A two-time Queen of the Road Award series winner (2014, 2015)
• Trail Series coordinator for 3 years.
• And as regular volunteer at SFTC races and events

Sheri has also exceled with her career running achievements and success including:

• Has run an astounding total of 61 marathons including having run a marathon in all 50 USA states and also overseas such as: Berlin, London, Edinburgh, and Marathon du Medoc in France.
• Her marathons also include running Boston 4 times, and she qualified for Boston 11+ times.
• Her marathon PR is 3:53 and her half marathon PR is 1:39 when she was 52/53.
• Holds TN State Running Record for 1 Mile for age 62 at 7:13.
• Holds TN State Running Record for 8 Mile for age 54 at 1:00:58
• Holds TN State Record for 3K at 15:22 for age 64 ran at 2022 Crazy 8’s 3K race.
• Started running for a club team when she was nine and ran with an AAU club team in Peoria, IL and went to Junior Nationals 3 times in the 400/4x400 relay (placing 3rd)
• Ran high school track and completed at State all 4 years in the 400, high jump, and 4x400 relay.
• Then ran Track and Cross-Country on scholarship at Illinois State.
• Ran with GE corporate team and won the nationals Women’s half 1:17
• Ran the Hood to Coast relay.
• She’s now working on the new goal of running a half marathon in every state and currently up to 16 states completed.
