Result Receipts is a tool for printing results onsite. Historically this is a feature of many triathlons and other races where participants are unlikely to have their phone available to them to check their results. This tool pulls directly from the RunSignup API and updates ever few minutes in the background to keep the data fresh should there be a drop in the network.

Users can configure the kiosk with custom logos and colors to make the application branded to the race it is deployed at. Settings for a race are cached in a browser so that users setting up ahead of time won't have to go back and redo the configuration.

Users can set up the defaults for display in the settings menu. Items that can be controlled include:

• Chip or Clock time selection as the main time display
• Time Rounding - this applies the USATF standard of rounding up to the nearest second if times are being sent with decimal places
• Hide Places and Hide Split Times if places or splits are not desired to be shown on the result receipt
• Sutom Message - to add a hashtag or custom working on the header of the receipt
• Timeout - The ability to change the default timeout for a receipt to close if not printing automatically
• Background Color/Header Color Changes
• Footer Text - to put a message such as "Results Produced By ______" at the bottom of the receipt
• Footer Timage - can be used to put a simple image at the bottom of the ticket

Users can search by name, bib number, or use the camera feature to scan a QR code on the bib. If a single result is returned it will send the receipt to the printer. Please note that this requires user acknowledgement to print in most browsers. To "silent print" directly to the printer, please use the Kiosk Browser tool.

The current implementation assumed a printer width of 80mm. Future implementations will consider different paper widths if enough user requests are seen.
