I’m running in the Race Against Gun Violence in Chicago, but this race is about more than just crossing the finish line. It’s about taking action for something that impacts all of us, creating safer communities and providing opportunities for our youth.

The funds I raise will support Urban Initiatives, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to empowering young people in under-resourced communities through sports, education, and mentorship. Urban Initiatives helps young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, and create positive futures, through soccer.
