Gun violence has impacted many of the communities I've lived in over the years. I've watched many people that I grew up with get taken too soon. I myself was impacted directly and it changed my life. My work and this walk has helped me to heal and allows me to pay respect and honor those who are no longer here with us. This event is pivotal to continuously building and changing the relationship between law enforcement and citizens as well. I look forward to this years race.
