What is the 5K@EASD Virtual Challenge?

This is a free virtual 5K race that can be done from any location you choose!
You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill or on the track.
This is a self-timed race, which means that you complete your 5K@EASD, submit your results through RunSignup before 17 September and receive a personalized finisher certificate!

Registration is now live for the 5K@EASD and we encourage you to run or walk with your friends, family or colleagues.
Running is better with friends!

The 5K@EASD can be done from anywhere around the world at any time.

Why is the 5K@EASD a diabetes awareness activity?

The 5K@EASD is hosted every fall during the EASD (European Association for the Study of Diabetes) Annual Meeting.
Each year, we come together as a global community to raise diabetes awareness and to raise public awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle in preventing and controlling diabetes.
Together, we are #DrivingChangeinDiabetes.

Do I have to be a part of the diabetes community to participate?

Everyone is welcome to participate in this FREE 5K and you do not have to be part of the diabetes community to participate.
Registration is now live for the 5K@EASD and we encourage you to run or walk with your friends, family or colleagues. Running is better with friends!
