The picture is my sister, my mom, and me at the 2023 walk. I’ve done this 5K for many years. I began before I even had a personal connection. This is such a worthy cause and it became even more important when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. My team is not often large nor does it bring in the top donations, but I will continue to do what I can to support this effort. - Jen E, Team Captain.
The Care4 Breast Cancer 5K is an important fundraising event in my community for Family Health Partnership Clinic. FHPC provides health care to the uninsured in our county. All of the proceeds raised are used for breast health education, early diagnosis & screenings, annual exams, preventative care and more! FHPC is a nonprofit organization that does not rely on state or federal funding and instead relies on grants, foundations, generous donors and events like the Care4. Together, we can make our community healthier and give everyone HOPE.
