Please check back soon for information on this year's Lafayette Reservoir Run!
The Lafayette Chamber and the City of Lafayette are co-sponsors of the Lafayette Res Run for Education which is traditionally held on a Sunday in October. This year the race will be held Sunday, October 25.
Beneficiaries of the event are the local public schools and the services and programs of the Lafayette Chamber. Who will win as top beneficiary school? Congratulations to Burton Valley Elementary for winning the Early Bird Contest! Register for the race today and choose your school.
The Run is the city’s most popular “family affair”, involving kids, parents, grandparents, and hundreds of serious runners from throughout the Bay Area. Participants compete in a 10k or 5k certified runs and a 2 mile run/walk for fun through downtown Lafayette, around the Lafayette Reservoir (10k only) and back. Sprinters, walkers, the “stroller brigade” and many of Lafayette’s top four legged residents share the streets on that beautiful Sunday morning. Don’t miss the live music by the Stanley Middle School Orchestra and the Healthy Lifestyles Fair!
Race Course: 10k course is Oak Hill Road to El Nido Ranch Road, around the Lafayette Reservoir and back. 5k and the 2 mile DO NOT go around the Lafayette Reservoir. Course for 5k and 2 mile is on Mt. Diablo Blvd. View map links above for additional details.
