1st Annual COUGAR POLAR MILE February 29, 2020
COUGAR POLAR MILE – Our Race, Your Fundraiser.
The RE/MAX, Matt Ridgeway 1st Annual COUGAR POLAR MILE Race will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. Check in time and day of race registration is 7:45 a.m. Participants have the option of running one of the 4 timed 1 mile races: Crawford Law Group Women’s Open, Core Mortgage Men’s Open, Girls Open, Boys Open or an untimed Guy’s Buick GMC Fitness Walk or Cub Run. T-shirts and swag bags will be given out to all pre-registered runners. Runners fees: $20 per race, $10 Cub run and day of race is $25. Start/Finish at Jefferson High School’s Cougar Stadium.
Purpose
Provide a fun and easy fundraising platform for all Jefferson High School clubs, organizations, sports, teachers’ projects and other community organizations. All are welcome to participate.
How It Works
The Cougar Polar Mile is an Official Jefferson High School Cross Country (JHS XC) Fundraising Event; however, it is considered an Activity Event for all other participating school entities.
JHS XC will host a classic walk-a-thon, where each runner will pay a single $20 entrance fee. T-shirt and swag included. 4 timed races and 2 fun runs.
Each registered participant will be able to raise funds for their designated clubs, organizations, sports, and/or teachers’ projects – or participants can just run a race.
Each recipient of funds will be responsible for controlling and managing their respective clubs, non-profits, organizations, sports and/or teachers’ participant funds. JHS XC will only register the runner and groups.
