When is packet pickup?

Packet Pick-up will be on Friday, 9/26 from 3:30-6 p.m. or Saturday, 9/27 from 7-8:25 a.m. in the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Lobby.

What else is included in my registration fee?

For in-person participants, they will receive an exclusive 5k t-shirt. For virtual participants, they will be mailed their exclusive 5k t-shirt, as well as their bib and pins. All Fun Run participants—whether in-person or virtual—receive a finisher ribbon and commemorative sticker. 

T-shirts are youth and unisex sizes.

Are strollers or pets allowed on the course?

Strollers are allowed, but bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards and animals are not. Thanks for your understanding!

Where should I park on race day?

We recommend parking in lots 1–6, viewable on our visitor parking map. All lots are available for parking, though, and you will not be ticketed.

Since this is an enclosed course on campus, do the roadways close?

Yes, campus roadways will begin closing betweeen 8:10–8:15 the morning of the race. Make sure you're on campus before they close! The first campus entrances to reopen will be Lake Drive and Burton Street around 9 a.m. Those bringing children exclusively for the Youth Fun Run (which begins at 9:30 a.m.) may enter campus from either of those reopened entrances. 

Where does the course go?

The course is completely enclosed on the campus of Calvin University. The start/finish line is outside of Knollcrest Dining Hall. Course maps will be available at packet pickup.

Can I walk the 5k?

We welcome participants of all paces! We ask participants to complete the course by 10 a.m., giving walkers an hour and a half to complete their race.

What if there is bad weather? 

In case of severe weather, local, state or national emergency, and matters of public health safety, race directors reserve the right to cancel the race without refund and transfer registrations to the virtual race option. We will notify participants in advance.

I registered by cannot participate. Can I still pick-up my packet? 

Yes, you may still pick up your packet. If you know well in advance, notify us at alumni@calvin.edu to switch your registration to the virtual option.
