A "Ruck" is a common activity in the military where a soldier marches with a backpack on, typically holding all the gear they will need to live out of in the field. This can be done as either a run or a walk. For R4TW's Ruck, we are encouraging giving back to the community by filling up a backpack with canned goods and rucking a 5K. All canned goods will be donated to the Community Harvest Food Bank. Sign up for this 5K Ruck and see if you can ruck like a real soldier!

For individuals with permanent physical and/or visual impairments.

Individuals with Physical Disabilities:
Individuals with a permanent physical disability that precludes them from participating at a high level with their peers in non adaptive programs. Amputation/limb loss, spinal cord injury, spina bifida, leg length discrepancy, permanent joint disorders, cerebral palsy/brain injury/stroke and other orthopedic and locomotor disabilities are just a few of the examples.

Individuals with Visual Impairments:
Individuals who have vision that's not correctable through glasses, contacts, etc are encouraged to signed up under the "Adaptive Division".

We are incorporating a parallel 'lane' for those that wish to bring their leashed K9 friend for fun at the airport!
Dogs are encouraged to participate in the run as long as they are leashed at all times, current on rabies and distemper vaccines, and have excellent temperament with other dogs and children.

After the race, your child ages 3-8 is invited to participate in the free Training Trot. If you would like your child to participate please sign up each participating child using this option.

If you would like your child to have their own lunch, please purchase a extra lunch for them using the Lunch w/the Warriors option ($10.00).
