Join us for the Johns Hopkins Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service Stride & Thrive 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk to make a difference that truly counts! Lace up your running shoes or grab your walking gear for a day of purpose and impact.
By participating in Stride & Thrive, you're not just taking steps, you're taking a stand against gynecologic cancers. These silent but devastating diseases affect countless women and their families every year. Every 4.6 minutes, a woman in the U.S. is diagnosed with a ‘below the belt’ gynecologic cancer. Our race isn't just about crossing the finish line; it's about crossing boundaries in the fight against gynecologic cancers.
Your registration and fundraising efforts directly support The Susan L. Burgert, M.D. Gynecologic Oncology Survivor Programs at Johns Hopkins. These programs are a beacon of hope for survivors and their loved ones, providing crucial resources, support, and a community of warriors who have faced similar battles. Your participation fuels research, patient support, and awareness initiatives, creating a brighter future for those affected by these cancers.

Race Information
RACE FEES
5K Run/Walk - $40.00
1 Mile Walk (untimed) - $25.00
Virtual 5K Run/Walk - All virtual participants will pay a $40 registration fee. Virtual participants can pick up their shirt at packet pickup or can pay a shipping fee to have a race t-shirt mailed to you.
Special pricing for children 10 and under. Children 2 and under can register for free.
DONATIONS AND TEAM FUNDRAISING
Stride & Thrive aims to raise $250,000 to support our survivorship program and provide critical resources and support for patients in our care. We encourage all participants to set up a fundraising page (Team or Individual) to help us achieve our fundraising goal. Please consider making an additional donation to a fundraising page in support of our program and mission to eradicate gynecologic cancers! You will be prompted to do so during the registration process. To go directly to the fundraising/donation area, click the donate button at the top of this page. Your donation is 100% tax deductible.
FUNDRAISING INCENTIVES
Participants who raise $1,000 or more through their fundraising page will receive an exclusive UnderArmour tech tee with special $1,000+ Fundraiser Club branding. Be on the lookout with our official $1,000+ Club flier for more information.

Johns Hopkins University, Homewood Field - free parking available this day, more information will be emailed to participants closer to event day

Packet pick-up will be available on event morning beginning at 7:30 AM.

7:30 AM - Check-in/packet pick-up opens
8:00 AM - All onsite activities and vendor tents open
8:30 AM - On-stage Program begins
8:50 AM - Warm Up, after warm-up guests head to start line
9:00 AM - Check-in/packet pick-up closes
5K Run/Walk starts
9:05 AM - 1 Mile Walk starts
10:15 AM - Post-race awards ceremony begins
Top 3 Individual Fundraiser awards presented
Top 3 Team Fundraiser awards presented
Top 3 finishers in each age group category (male/female) and top 3 non-binary
12:00 PM - Onsite activities and vendor tents close, event ends

AWARDS AND INCENTIVES
During our post-race onstage program, awards will be given out to the top 3 individual fundraisers and the top 3 fundraising teams. The winners will be based on the final fundraising total as shown on the individual or team fundraising pages as of Friday, June 8 at 11:59 PM.
Age group winners will receive an official branded Below the Belt: Stride & Thrive finisher medal. Categories are as follows:
Overall - top 3 male and female (6 awards total)
9 & under - top 3 male and female (6 awards total)
10 - 14 - top 3 male and female (6 awards total)
15-19 - top 3 male and female (6 awards total)
20-29 - top 3 male and female (6 awards total)
30-39 - top 3 male and female (6 awards total)
40-49 - top 3 male and female (6 awards total)
50-59 - top 3 male and female (6 awards total)
60-69 - top 3 male and female (6 awards total)
70+ - top 3 male and female (6 awards total)
