Packet Pick-up

There are two options for race packet pickup at the Davis Fire Hall:

• Friday, September 25th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

• Saturday, September 26th, from 8:00 am to 9:30 am

Participants may pick up additional race packets for friends and family.

Please provide the following, if possible, when picking up your race packet:

• Registration confirmation printout

• Copy of a valid photo ID for the person whose package the other is picking up.

Our Mission

The Tucker Community Foundation, founded in 1988 in Tucker County, West Virginia, has expanded its services to include Barbour, Grant, Mineral, Pendleton, Pocahontas, Preston, Randolph, Tucker, and Upshur counties in West Virginia, as well as Garrett County, Maryland.  Our mission is to inspire a sustainable future through a culture of giving without expecting personal gain.

Our Program

Run For It is a fundraising program created by the Tucker Community Foundation in 2007 that encourages healthy activities and supports nonprofit organizations, civic groups, and charities across our ten-county service area.  The 2026 campaign kicks off on April 1, leading to a 2k walk and a 5k walk/run on September 26 during the Leaf Peepers Festival in Davis, WV.  It is essential for teams to raise funds during the six-month fundraising campaign, as half of the entry fees, along with all sponsorship and award donations collected, directly benefit the chosen causes.  The program supports a diverse range of initiatives, including arts, animal welfare, education, and community improvement, and also serves as a networking opportunity for organizations in our region and beyond.

Our Impact

Run For It brings together people from all walks of life who are committed to making a positive impact.  The initiative has collectively raised over $3.6 million.  In 2025, the event drew over 1,300 participants and raised $340,000, benefiting 79 nonprofit organizations and groups in our ten-county service area.
