The Tucker Community Foundation, established in 1988 in Tucker County, West Virginia, has broadened its services to include Barbour, Grant, Mineral, Pendleton, Pocahontas, Preston, Randolph, Tucker, and Upshur counties in West Virginia, as well as Garrett County, Maryland.  Our mission is to inspire a sustainable future by fostering a culture of giving without expecting personal gain.

The Foundation is dedicated to empowering communities and organizations in our region, ensuring they receive the support they need to grow and thrive.  By offering grants and scholarships, we assist students and programs across our ten-county service area, making education and opportunities accessible to all.  Local nonprofits actively engage in our Run For It program, which unites communities to create a positive impact.

The Tucker Community Foundation was founded on the principle of neighbors helping neighbors.  In response to the devastating 1985 flood, the Foundation was established to aid the county's recovery and future development.  What began as a single fund dedicated to one community has expanded as people recognized the importance of investing in their local areas.  Today, we manage over 150 endowed funds, extending our reach across nine counties in West Virginia and one in Maryland.  We provide scholarships, grants, and resources that create lasting change.

We believe that local nonprofits, civic groups, and charitable organizations are the backbone of our community.  Through our Run For It program and other initiatives, we encourage active participation and foster collaboration that amplifies our collective impact.
