This event is a casual run, jog, or walk (many people walk). The route is 5K (around 3 miles), but there are lots of shortcuts if you don't want to do an entire 5K. The Turkey Trot is a way to come together as a community during the holidays to help those in need and have fun. Don't forget your Thanksgiving costumes and accessories because selfies are recommended and you could win our Costume Contest!
Turkey Trot goes on rain or shine (c'mon, this is the PNW!). Due to the charity nature of the event and our fixed costs, we are unable to offer refunds.
Yes! We will be accepting food donations from our priority needs list and bags of individually wrapped holiday candy for our Holiday Gifts program! Collection bins will be in the food bank on race day!

If you pick up your shirt ahead of time at one of the times listed above, you will be entered into a raffle to win a $150 gift card to a local restaurant of your choosing! Bring a bag of individually wrapped holiday candy to donate to our Holiday Gifts program. Every bag will earn you an extra raffle ticket.
Yes! Please ask the person picking up your t-shirt and bib to bring proof that they have your permission to pick up your t-shirt. This can be in the form of a text message with their name or them forwarding you their registration confirmation email.
The start/finish line is on SE Bush Street at 1st Ave SE, between the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank and the Issaquah Community Center.

Yes, roads along the route will be closed for participant safety from 8:00-11:00am.
Yes, porta-potties are located in the start/finish line area and along the course.
Yes! Please stay towards the back of the starting line for safety.
Yes! If your child (8 and under) wishes to ride their bike, please abide by all pedestrian and bike laws, and start at the end of the race so you will not be a hazard to walkers/runners/joggers.
Yes, but please respect the following requirements:
- All dog walkers must be over the age of 18.
- Dogs must be accompanied by a registered participant.
- Participants must pick up after their dog.
- Dogs must have current vaccinations.
- All participants must agree to Waiver/Release during registration.
- All dogs must be kept on a maximum 6-foot leash at all times.
- Female dogs in heat will not be allowed to participate.
- At the sole discretion of the Event Coordinators, dogs whose behavior is unruly or might prove hazardous to participants, other dogs, or spectators will be requested to leave.
- All dog walkers must comply with any site location rules not listed above.
