A virtual option for a walking/running/rolling event means that participants can use a course of their choice to cover the distance of the 5K event and receive the same T-shirt and medal as if doing the actual event. Each registered person will receive these + other branded SWAG items within 2-3 weeks after the September 28, 2023 event, mailed out via the USPS direct to the individual.
A virtual option allows individuals in different locations to train for the same event and support one another. Fitness becomes teambuilding for companies and organizations, using the “Get in Shape” program available to everyone who enters the Kaiser Permanente 5K.
Individuals have a guide to get in shape and invite relatives and friends to use the gentle exercise. Those on a team can stay connected and supported during the training period—and come together for a celebration of accomplishment (by video call or social distance gathering).
Everyone is encouraged to complete their 5K on or around Thursday, September 28, 2023. Join the virtual fun by sharing your photos – along your route and/or at your virtual finish line – on social media with the hashtag #kprunwalkroll.
The Kaiser Permanente virtual has lots of fun each week to keep everyone motivated and working toward the goal of fitness—together!
Use the virtual option as an opportunity to challenge Colleagues in a different City!
