Kaiser Permanente Run, Walk & Roll

Wednesday, September 11, 2019, 7:00 P.M. Atlanta, GA US 30313 Directions

1. Who can participate?

The more the merrier! A company may enter an unlimited number of runners, walkers, joggers, and wheelchair participants, from 1 person to 5000! All scoring participants must be full-time and employed by the participating company at least three months prior to race day. Part-time employees, family members, and friends, as well as those under 18, may also participate and will count towards the participation number but are not eligible for individual or team awards. Employment and other criteria are subject to verification by the Race Committee. Because of insurance restrictions, strollers, animals, baby joggers, and rollerblades are not allowed on the racecourse, with the exception of participants using a wheelchair who are officially registered for the event. NOTE: you DO NOT need to be a member of Kaiser Permanente to participate.

2. I walk. Can I participate?

Yes! Over 50% of event participants in the past have been walkers. For the safety of all participants, runners and walkers will be directed to separate start areas. Watch for signs to find the walker start lineup!

3. How do I get my company signed up?

Click the "Sign Up" tab at the top of the page. You can sign up online or offline. We highly recommend signing up everyone online. If you sign up online, you (or the team captain) must first register your company.

4. Do any charities benefit from the race?

A portion of the proceeds is donated to various local charities including Atlanta Community Food Bank, Back on My Feet, and American Cancer Society.

5. May I bring my children?

All participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian signature. Other considerations: the course has some hills, it can still be warm in September, and there are a lot of participants on the GWCC campus at this event, so we recommend children under 13 staying at home. Due to insurance restrictions, baby joggers, strollers, rollerblades, and animals are not allowed, with the exception of participants using a wheelchair who are officially registered for the event.

6. Refunds?

We do sympathize with life’s uncertainties, but we are unable to offer refunds, deferrals, or transfers. When you register online you have 15 minutes to clear your transaction without being charged after the form is submitted. After the 15 minutes, there will be no refunds.

7. Where can I tell my company members to meet?

Set up a time and place to meet prior to arriving at the race site. You will also want to know where to meet your team after the race. You can also reserve a Company Space for your team - Space Reservation Form. Unfortunately, time to reserve a space at this year's event has expired. Let us know if we can assist you.

8. How can I continue to get updates about the event?

Send your email address to info@kprunwalkroll.com and ask us to put you on the Kaiser Permanente Run, Walk & Roll email list.

If you have any other questions that were not listed please contact us at info@kprunwalkroll.com or 404-843-8727.
