AWARDS
Overall: Awards will be given for top 3 overall male and female in the 20K and the 5K.
Overall: Top 3 Finishers in the Non-Binary Division in the 20K and the 5K will recieve an overall award.
Age Group: Awards will be given to the top three finishers (male and female) in each age division for both the 5K and the 20K.
Those racing in the non-binary divison are NOT eligible for age group awards or prize money.
Age divisions are:
5K Run/Walk: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
20K Run: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-80
PRIZE MONEY
In 2021, Race Day Events started offering a cash prize for breaking the course record for the Lake Monona 20K.
If the record isn't broken we will roll that cash prize into the next year's event to keep things interesting!
This year's cash prize will be $500 for the men's race and $600 for the women's race.
Think you can break the record and claim the cash prize for the Lake Monona 20K!?
Male Course Record: 1:03:53 - Alexander Cushman in 2021
Female Course Record: 1:12:59 - Cassie Hintz in 2007
Award Policy
We encourage you to stay after the event to pick up your award in person.
However, if you are unable to do so, Race Day Events will hold event awards for 30 days after the event concludes.

*Please note that we charge a $10 shipping fee for any participant wishing to have their award mailed after the event is complete.
