6-Day Tour: Logistics & Itinerary

Parking

Long-term parking is at Evart High School, at the end of the ride. Riders, their luggage and their bicycles will be bused via motorcoach to the beginning of the ride in Tawas City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12th. Bicycles will travel carefully in a separate moving van. The cost of the bus is an add-on cost that is available during registration. Due to logistics, 6-day riders will not be able to park at the Clara Bolen Elementary School. Riders are welcome to bring food and beverage on the motorcoach and several options are available in Evart. There will be no dinner served on Friday.

Campers may arrive after 6:00 p.m., on Friday, July 12th for early registration check-in and to set up camp on Saturday, July 13th.
The first meal of the ride begins with the breakfast buffet on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Our hearty breakfast and dinner buffets are served every morning and evening from Saturday, July 13-Thursday, July 18. Riders will lunch on their own with suggested locations provided by the tour.

We will provide shuttle services in the evenings to downtown areas in Tawas City and Cadillac.
On Thursday, July 18, we ride the final leg of the tour back to Evart High School for a festive finish line, and to pack our vehicles. Showers will be available until 3:30 and we ask that everyone say their goodbyes and depart the school grounds by 4:00 p.m.

There will be no 8-day tour in 2019.
