The Frosty Fifty 50K has been selected as the 2025 RRCA Southern Region Ultra Championship Race!
Prize money for the 50K race in 2025! The top 3 male and female finishers in the 50K race will be awarded as follows: $150 for 1st, $100 for 2nd, $50 for 3rd.
The 2025 distance races will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025. The 5K will be held on Friday night, January 3.
Race registration will close at 11:59PM on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.

Join us at Salem Lake for one of FIVE races fit for any distance! Celebrate your run with post race food, homemade soup, and beer from Radar Brewing.
EVENTS INCLUDE
- Night 5K (Friday, 1/3/25)
- 12.5K (7.75 miles: 1 loop. 12.5K/loop)
- 25K (15.5 miles: 2 loops. 12.5K/loop)
- 50K (31 miles: 4 loops. 12.5K/loop)
- Gwyn's Grace 50K Relay: 4 person relay team. Each leg = 12.5K loop

T-Shirts: Tri-Blend Long Sleeve Race T-Shirts with 26th anniversary design are available in female and unisex sizes. Shirts guaranteed for all registrations through 12/15/24! Shirts run true to size but if you prefer a looser fitting shirt, size up!
Certified Course: The race is run on a USATF Certified Race course #NC23001DF. Click here for a course map.

** 50K: 7 HOUR TIME CAP. Participants are allowed to start at 7AM but are not eligible for awards and results will show up in a separate race category. Check-in with the Early Start Station before starting**
Tailgate Town
Join the tailgate fun at Frosty Fifty and reserve a great space near the finish line for you or your group!
- 12 spaces available (10x10 area) to set-up as you like (1 space can handle a vehicle; tents encouraged!)
- Spaces are first come, first serve
- Space set-up: Friday between 3-7pm OR race morning starting at 6am!

Running Shoe Collection
Got some used running shoes you need to get get rid of? Bring them to the race. We will be collecting gently worn, used sneakers and running shoes and sending them to Sneakers4Good. Their sneaker reuse and recycling program helps keep your running shoes out of landfills while supporting local causes and families all over the world.
Charity Partner: Down Syndrome Association of Greater Winston-Salem
We are thrilled to partner with the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Winston-Salem for all 4 races in the 2022-2023 Fit 4 Race Series. Donations can be made during registration or on-site at the races to help support our local association!

The Gwyn's Grace Relay has become a very popular event at Frosty Fifty! The relay will be an exciting team effort composed of all male, all female, or coed teams with 9 total awards including master and grand master!

Big 4 Trail Race Series
The Big 4 Trail Race Series includes the following Winston-Salem Trail Races hosted by Twin City Track Club: Hobby Trail to You! (August 10), Salem Lake Trail Races (September 28), Black Friday Relays (November 29) and Frosty Fifty (January 3-4, 2025) at Salem Lake.

Handmade coasters made by artists at the Monarch Studio 651 in downtown Winston-Salem will serve as awards for the 2024 races.
Monarch’s Studio 651 is a vocational activity center and adult development day program (ADD) with a focus on creative arts and community engagement. Artwork is available at ShopMonarch.org.
