The Northern Colorado athletic community is strong and vibrant. Coming together to support this community at the inaugural event was an easy decision for race directors Mandy of miles.Beyond and run.Windsor and JB of Breakaway Athletic Events. Both are passionate about empowering and enhancing the well-being of individuals in the communities they serve.
Partnering with the Poudre River Trail Authority, surrounding entities and local businesses highlighted their commitment to detail and creating events that bring people together to celebrate the unique strengths of local communities. Ensuring a great experience for all participants was part of our vision at the first year's race in 2025.
run.Windsor strives to positively impact the health of Northern Colorado through a passion for running. With races ranging in distance from a 5k to ultramarathon and kids fun runs, run.Windsor’s endurance events celebrate the people, businesses and organizations that make Windsor great.
Breakaway Athletic Events' mission is to create unique Northern Colorado racing events with an awesome beginner friendly athlete experience. Creating, managing, racing and volunteering at a variety of events in the region - we've seen it all. We know what works, what doesn't and what it really takes create a truly great race day for our athletes, spectators, sponsors and volunteers.
