The 2nd Annual Navy Ten-Miler Presented by USAA is proud to return to the Chula Vista waterfront. 

Returning as the title event, the Navy Ten-Miler is built for speed. Last year's inaugural race featured a highly competitive field—based on the VDOT evaluation system, 1 out of 3 runners achieved an Advanced or Elite finish time, and nearly the entire field beat their estimated finish times! The 2027 race features a slightly updated start and finish line while taking full advantage of the same fast, flat roads that made 2026 a record-setting year. 

The NTM5K features a highly scenic course that loops through Bayside and Bayfront parks. Whether you are racing for a PR or enjoying a morning walk along the water, this 5K is a fantastic way for everyone to get involved in the race day energy.

Launching for the first time, the NTM Touch-n-Go Half Challenge gives you the opportunity to complete both the NTM5K and the Navy Ten-Miler consecutively. This non-traditional 13.1-mile event offers a unique way to tackle a half-marathon, giving you a brief window to recover and refuel between races so you can finish strong. To ensure you make the Navy Ten-Miler starting line, participants must complete the NTM5K in no more than 35 minutes (averaging just over an 11 min/mile pace). 

New Challenge for 2027!

Introducing the NTM Touch-n-Go Half Challenge. Just like a Navy fighter jet touching its wheels down on the deck of the carrier and throttling up for another pass, runners will start with the NTM5K. After crossing the finish line, you'll reset in the corral before taking off to conquer the Navy Ten-Miler. 

Participants will be required to complete the NTM5K in no more than 35 minutes (averaging just over a 11 min/mile pace).
