Due to COVID last year's race was cancelled and this year's race will be done virtually. If you haven't done a virtual race this is what it looks like. Over the next few weeks this site will post a few different officially measured 5K (and some 10K races). Even though going forward this race will become an exclusively 5K race and will occur before the Beaverton Celebration Parade, we will allow a 10K race results. There will be no cost differential between the two races. You choose your path, you choose the time within a three day period, and then you post your results. We will have a designed short and medallion for the finishers and will have prizes for the first people signing up. One advantage of this format is that you can reduce the cost by deciding not to have medallions and/or t-shirts and we will pass those savings on to you. In the live race we place medallions on everyone as they cross the finish line.
The goal of the race remains the same. To race money for the good works supported by the Rotary Club of Beaverton. We have been serving the local Beaverton community for over 60 years. We provide books for kids, scholarships, warm coats and shoes along with a lot of very worthwhile projects both locally and throughout the world. We invite you to participate and to support these benevolent activites.

The race will be chip timed by Huber Timing. The timing chip will be attached to the race bib and is disposable and does not need to be returned after the race. Results will be available at the finish on kiosks and posted live to http://www.hubertiming.com/results/2019SunRun. In addition results will be emailed to the email address used during registration and a txt with your finishing time will be sent to the phone number used during registration.
The race bib must be worn on your chest or front of shorts and visible at all times.
