Your Race Theme
What is a race theme?
Your race theme is the "look" of your race website. There are a few areas of options to consider:
Race Template:
You can set your template under race page -> race theme. You have a few options:
Choose a Horizontal or Vertical Template Option:
Horizontal Option (Menu on top)
Vertical Option (Menu on left):
Within each template, you can also choose options on the following menu:
- A Default Layout (event details are overlayed over your header image, as in the Vertical Layout above) or an Alternative Layout (event details are dislpayed above and below the header image with no image gradient, as in the Horizontal Layout above).
- Color for the header bar (the options here depend on the colors you set later)
- Navigation: opt to show all menu items at once, or to group some into "More" to keep your menu to one line.
- Show or hide your race logo in your page footer
- Display events as a a grid or a list:

Color Scheme:
You can choose the colors for your website under race -> race page -> race theme -> color scheme
- Choose a preset color scheme, or create your own custom color scheme.
- Use a custom color scheme to match your site to your logo or brand
- Once you save your color scheme, make sure you double and triple check that you can read all writing, etc.
Race Logo
Add your race logo at race -> race page -> race theme -> race logo. You can pick a default option, but uploading your own is recommended - this is your chance to show off your brand on the website and automatically include it in emails. Square logos work best; 400x400 is recommended.
Race Banner
Add your own race banner at race -> race page -> race theme -> banner image. Your banner image is your big, sweeping visual introduction. If you don't have a banner image, you can select one of the defaults.
Best practices for banner images:
- Croppie is coming soon, but for now your image must be 1200x400.
- Check your banner after uploading! Make sure the resolution looks clean and clear, or you may want to select another logo.
Always check your website as you make changes to your site!
