Kickoff Kiki
- 🎽 Pick up your race bib and your Big Gay Socks.
- 🗺️ Review the course map, race day schedule, and everything happening during Big Gay Weekend.
- 👠 Get last-minute High Heel Havoc tips and tricks from one of our fabulous queens before race day.
- 🎨 Bring your friends, family, neighbors, and biggest cheerleaders to create signs at our community Sign Making Station.
- 🍸 Kick off Big Gay Weekend early with special cocktails, drink specials, and plenty of opportunities to meet fellow participants before the starting horn.
SATURDAY 10/24 (8A-12P)
Race Day
Armory Park
- 8:00 AM – Start Village Opens
Participant services, packet assistance, partner village, and the Glam & Go Station, powered by Unicorn Snot, are open. Add a little sparkle before you hit the streets. - 9:00 AM – Big Gay 5K Begins
Run, walk, or strut through the colorful streets of historic Barrio Viejo. - 9:00 AM – Pour Decisions Playground Opens
Cold drinks and hot tunes begin. Supporters can grab a drink and wait for you here. - 10:00 AM – High Heel Havoc "Slay-In"
Heel checks, final instructions, and just enough time to question your life choices before the chaos begins. - 10:30 AM – High Heel Havoc
The stilettos hit the pavement as participants battle for glory, bragging rights, and prizes for both speed and spectacular commitment to the bit. - 12:00 PM – Stage Programming Concludes
Give your hugs, snap a few more photos, support our partners, and head home safely.
Parking & Transportation

Note: Meter spaces immediately surrounding Armory Park will be restricted.
