5 Years for Fred
As part of the 5th Anniversary Fred Bigelow Memorial 100 Km Challenge, we invite participants to include some of the places Fred loved most in their activities this November. While five of his favorites are pictured here, Fred had countless cherished spots across Canada.
These are the trails, routes, and waters where Fred ran, biked, paddled, and found joy in the outdoors. They embody the spirit of adventure and connection with nature that defined him.
Whether you visit these locations in person, plan a route that passes through them, or dedicate a workout in their honor, you’ll be moving through the same spaces that inspired Fred.
Let these places guide and motivate you as you take on the challenge — celebrating Fred’s love of activity, nature, and community.
