St. Petersburg Distance Classic 10K
This is a beautiful course showcasing St. Petersburg’s residential waterfront areas in Snell Isle and around Coffee Pot Bayou.
With a start time 40 minutes before sunrise, most runners will complete the course before the sun rises high enough to present any challenges. Also, with just one incline – a small bridge onto Snell Isle, this should be a lightning fast course for those seeking a PR.

The Course
Our St. Petersburg Distance Classic 10K starts with our halfathon and marathon at 6:30 am at North Shore Park on St. Petersburg’s beautiful downtown waterfront. The course heads north into Snell Isle to view some of our area’s finest historic homes.
The St. Petersburg Distance Classic 10K continues through Snell Isle around Coffee Pot Bayou before returning back towards North Shore Park.
Our 10K initially bypasses the turn into the finish line area and heads south along Vinoy Park towards the Vinoy Resort. The 10K athletes turn around and return back to North Shore Park to complete their race.
