1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk Details
The Strut Your Kidney 1-Mile Fun Run is an out-and-back course beginning at Sellwood Riverfront Park. Participants will start behind the Riverpark Business Center building, cross Spokane Street at the dead-end, and continue east along the south Spokane Street sidewalk.
The course then turns right onto Grand Avenue, staying on the sidewalk, before taking the pedestrian ramp onto the north side of the Sellwood Bridge. Participants will continue approximately two-thirds of the way across the bridge before turning around and heading back along the north side of the bridge.
Runners and walkers will continue north on Grand Avenue, cross Spokane Street, and follow the sidewalk west along Spokane Street. At the Riverpark Business Center sign, participants will take the small path to the right heading north, follow the trail, and complete a counter-clockwise loop through Sellwood Riverfront Park back to the Start/Finish Arch.
Volunteers will be stationed throughout the course to help guide participants. Please remember to follow all traffic laws and remain aware of your surroundings while on sidewalks and crosswalks.
