Behind the Design: Why Our New 2026 Camp Logo Means So Much to Me
By Bronson Lee | Co-Camp Director
Every year when we start mapping out the summer for the =PR= Youth Running Camp, I find myself focusing on what we truly want our campers to take away from their week with us. It’s never just about hitting a certain mileage or running a fast time. It's about the character they build out on the track and trails and the community we create together.
That’s why I am so incredibly proud to unveil our official 2026 camp logo! When your athlete puts on their camp gear this summer, I want them to know they are wearing a visual story of our values, our grit, and our passion for the sport.
“The sport of running teaches us how to push past our own self-imposed limits. This design is a daily reminder of that journey.”
🏃♂️ 1. The Heartbeat: PR ("Chase Your Personal Record")
Right at the center of the logo are the letters PR. This is our anchor. It represents the heartbeat of who we are, carrying the foundational motto of our entire camp: “Chase your personal record.”
As a coach, I always tell the kids that a PR isn't about beating the runner next to you; it's about finding out what you are capable of.
-
For our campers: A PR is that unforgettable breakthrough moment where hard work finally clicks.
-
For our parents: It’s a promise that we are helping build the kind of everyday integrity, resilience, and self-belief that your kids will bring home with them long after camp ends.
🌲 2. The Three Terrains: Embracing Every Path
We wanted this design to reflect the full, beautiful spectrum of our sport, honoring every surface our athletes love to conquer:
-
The Arches of the Track: Those fluid, sweeping curves over the top represent the track—the place where we teach focus, rhythm, and the sheer joy of testing your top-end speed.
-
The Grass for Cross Country: The vibrant blades of green capture the raw, adventurous spirit of cross country. It stands for the grit, determination, and adaptability it takes to handle the elements, conquer the hills, and love the dirt.
-
The Path for the Roads: Winding gracefully through the center is the open path. It’s a symbol of the long run, steady progress, and the endless miles of opportunity that stretch out ahead when you stay dedicated to the journey.
👥 3. The Two Runners: Better Together
If you look at the top of the logo, you’ll see two runners moving forward in full stride. This is the absolute soul of our program. Running can feel like a lonely individual sport sometimes, but running together with a community makes the miles so much better.
No matter a child's speed, background, or experience level, they have a pack here. We don't leave anyone behind. We celebrate each other's victories, pull each other up when the hills get tough, and build lifelong friendships along the way.
Ready to Lace Up This Summer?
Whether your child is stepping into their very first pair of running shoes or gearing up for their first big cross country season, this logo is their badge of honor. It stands for doing things the right way, supporting the team, and never being afraid to chase big dreams.
I can't wait to see the crew rocking this gear out at camp this summer. Let’s get out there and make something great happen!
See you on the track & trail soon! - Bronson
