Partners for Strings and Paradise Point Tramway present the "Paradise Point Road Race" on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 7:00am.  The nearly 2-mile incline course starts at G-Clef Music Academy in Mandela Circle (at the intersection of Elmo D. Roebuck, Sr. Drive and Edward W. Blyden Road).  "Paradise Point Road Race" participant will run about 700 feet above sea level to the top of Paradise Point (on Flag Hill Mountain) with their “Conqueror’s Flag”, place it on the Conqueror’s Wall, and walk back down to the Paradise Point upper-level parking deck.  The road race is open to all ages (runners and walkers). We are expecting 300 to 500 runners to be “Conquerors” of the Paradise Point Road Race. Participants will be registering for the road race online at paradisepointroadrace.com or in person at G-Clef Music Academy.
