Race Day Gear Bag Handout High Priority

On morning of race, give each runner a gear bag with a number matching the race bib number of the runner. Direct runner to the place for gear bag drop-off for delivery to the Finish in Freeport.

RACE DAY LOGISTICS

Bicycle Escort High Priority

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers on bicycles to accompany runners as they run the course. Bicycle escorts provide aid and encouragement to runners and call for or seek additional assistance for runners as necessary. Experienced bicycle escort will provide instructions.
Bicycle escorts ride from Cabot Methodist Church to Freeport on the same route as the runners. Must provide own arrangements to return with bicycle to start. Coordination of logistics with fellow escorts possible.

Same refreshments as runners.

Volunteer will assist Cabot Methodist Church volunteers direct parking at Cabot Methodist Church on race day morning. Church volunteer will provide direction on what to do. Meet at Church at 6:30 a.m.

Details

Race Day volunteer opportunities are available on Saturday October 19, 2024 between the hours of 7 am and 1:30 pm. You do not needed to volunteer for the full time period as tasks began and end at different times and are located in Cabot, Freeport, and along the race course.
If you signup for Race Day Packet Pickup, you will be able to perform other volunteer tasks on Race Day if you desire.

Details

Variety of tasks at Finish Festivities, including handout Finisher Medals, handout race shirts, help with food service, clean-up.
In Freeport 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
As parking is limited, Freeport Residents are encouraged to sign up.

Meet at Playground Pavilion at 2nd Street Extension for assignment.
