💸 Start with a Splash: Donate to your own fundraising page – no need to break the bank, just a small contribution sets the pace. Your donation leads the way for your friends and family to follow suit.
🤳 Connect and Conquer: Link your fundraising page with Facebook. It's as easy as pie – log in to your Journey Home Animal Care Center hub, find the "Reach Your Goal Faster" blue box, and click the "Connect Fundraiser to Facebook" button. You'll be connected in no time!
📣 Spread the Word: Share the Walktoberfest buzz with your loved ones via social media, email, or text. Ask them to join you virtually or support your fundraising efforts. Unsure what to say? We've got some brilliant message suggestions!
🌐 QR Code Magic: Want an effortless way for people to find your fundraising page? Google QR code generators, paste your page URL, and voilà – your QR code is ready for invites, postcards, and more!
🚶♀️ Choose Your Path: Decide where you'll participate. Look up a scenic walk or find a local trail, but check in with local authorities for any activity restrictions before heading out.
DURING THE MONTH OF WALKTOBER:
📱 Charge Up for the Live Walk: If you're joining our live, virtual walk, grab the Charge Running app (details coming soon). RSVP to Journey Home Animal Care Center’s Walktober within the app or your hub.
🤗 Share Your Why: Reflect on why you're taking part in Walktober and what Journey Home Animal Care Center’s mission means to you. Share your passion with friends and family and let them know there's still time to chip in.
📢 Stay in the Loop: Keep your supporters engaged with regular updates. Send follow-up emails or post progress, training adventures, and heartwarming stories to remind them of the difference they can make.
🌍 Stay Informed: Ensure your chosen walk location is ready for action by checking local activity updates from authorities, including any access restrictions.
🚶♂️ Get Ready to Walk: Lace up and hit the pavement for your Walktober! Keep an eye out for furry friends and wagging tails!
AFTER WALKTOBER:
