The Central Appalachian Cave Rescue Team (CACRT) is dedicated to assisting with cave-related emergencies and rescues within WV and the surrounding states. We coordinate with local emergency management organizations to provide the specialized technical expertise and equipment needed to effectively respond to these types of incidents. Our local area has 1000's of caves including some of the longest caves in the U.S.
