I am a therapist at Centro Sanar, and I am running this race in honor of a member of my family, Jesus Gomez, who we tragically lost to gun violence on October 19, 2018.  For Luis Dávalos, Nathan Billegas, Luis Llamas, for the people in my neighborhood who have been victims to gun violence and for the families and individuals I work with who have lost a loved one due to homicide and gun violence. Grief due to gun violence is like no other. Thank you for supporting my fundraiser to be able to continue to support the individuals processing this type of intense complex grief.
